R3g vs Digg-A house divided

What's a girl to do on a Friday night?? Aside from watching Dr. Who and Atlantis, naturally...I watched a bunch of podcasts. Including the R3G dodgeball game against Digg. Pitting one group of talented tech talent against their own for fun, sport and a sense of artificial rivalry....Isn't this the kind of crap that Steve Jobs was doing to Apple right before they fired him? Not that I'm superstitious or anything. In fact I'm fine with the fact that the team wearing red-my favorite color-headbands lost terribly....As the Doctor always says right before the world is about to end, "Oh, dear!"
