Boo on Years in Review

I hate to start the year off in disagreement, but....
Catching up on the podcasts of Loaded I heard Natali del Conte making fun of the search terms used by Yahoo and defending those of Google. I hardly think you can judge all internet users by those who search for subjects in Yahoo/Google/any other search engine. What about people that learn about subjects from Wikipedia? or news sources? Let's not forget that some people can actually enter the URL they want-or already have it marked as a favorite.
Search listings show us the habits of people who don't know how to do these things.
By the way, I doubt that all the Yahoo searchers wanted photos of Britney-or that all the Google searchers wanted serious policy analysis regarding Palin. Most of the celebrity news/reality show culture seems based on laughing at people's misfortune.
See her take on 2008 search for yourself:

Still sad about the Rev3 changes. Came across this following posts on all the fan sites for those affected. Hope to see more of Marty, Sarah, and the gang in new projects. Till then, we'll have the memories....

Rev3-why?????

Guess why I made the effort to try out Rev3?
Martin Sargent
Guess why I tried more of the shows there?
Sarah Lane
I'm a girl. I'm a Southerner. (Gator!!) I don't drink (ok I know I'm alone on that one) I like to read.
Why do I keep getting ignored? The world is not a G4 focus group. I know that the economy is in bad shape. But letting go of your assets in trying times makes about as much sense as wasting money just because times are good.
Both are signs of poor leadership.
Or just a lack of leadership.

Morgan Reviews Lockergnome's keyboard

On today's Webb Alert Morgan shows several of the most expensive keyboards out there. Among her mentions is one that lets you program LED shortcuts...hmmm...sounds familiar. I don't think Morgan realized that Chris did a podcast on that one. Mostly she showed the artsy handpainted ones. I agree that thousands are too much spend (at least for me). But I think there's a huge difference between a keyboard that matches your wallpaper and a keyboard with programming options.

Tech TV vs Photoshop TV

I've got a bit of a Photoshop TV habit. I'm obsessively working my way through all the past episodes. Tonight I noticed that there were some striking similarities between that gang and the old TechTV gang. Scott Kelby is Leo. He just is. I would love for someone to get them on a video podcast together just so I could see what happens. Dave Cross is both Patrick -with kilts replaced by Canadian shirts/jerseys-and Adam Sessler. Kinda like the Leo-Scott thing, I can't explain how Adam and Dave are the same guy. They just are. The jokes, the mannerisms. Matt Koslowski...I haven't decided, yet. Sometimes I could swear he's Marty with the self-deprecating humor. Other times he's the young Mr. Cool and I think Matt is just a Diggnation waiting to happen. After all, they had a drinking game episode, so it's just a matter of time.

Oooh...Oosah

I took a Dreamweaver class. So, hopefully I'll be able to turn this blog into a website soon. Of course I was one of the only students without a flash drive to store the files from class. So I just bought one online. But, Chris "the Ninja" Pirillo just shared a website that may mean I'll never have to buy another one. Oosah gives away 1 TB of space for free. I don't know why, but I trust Chris. So, I'm not asking questions.
Thanks Chris! Thanks Oosah!
